Szymon is a master’s student studying neuroscience at The University of Nottingham. During his studies, he has spent time working in Alzheimer’s Research UK Drug Discovery Institute at University College London, learning how scientific minds come together with various ideas to tackle dementia. He is spending his final year working on how genes can influence the risk of developing Alzheimer’s Disease, calculating polygenic risk scores.
