    I rang the Doctor's surgery as Wriggly Bum shows signs of another Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

    Dr . SG himself came, in his irritatingly flash car (down girl, no need to get bitchy!).

    Time out can be difficult to arrange, and costly, because unless  you are lucky enough to be surrounded by a network of voluntary sitters, you pay for one.

    Developing dementia is dreaded more than any other medical condition, at least by people of middle age and upwards. It’s often said in conversation that we would rather be dead than live like that.

    After a bad night of post operative discomfort, I  switched the alarm off at 6 a.m, but foolishly stayed put, promising myself another few divine duvet minutes.

    I would describe my husband as kind, gentle, caring, appreciative, loyal, friendly, generous, tolerant, forgiving, uncomplaining, courageous, stoical, helpful, polite, well mannered...

    Symbol of freedom, keys to the open road, imagery ranging from Mr Toad to Thelma and Louise, driving is a massive part of our lives. Therefore giving it up, or having to relinquish one’s licence is a big issue.
