Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) for Dementia: an International Perspective conference

Thursday, 9 July, 2015

The Roberts Building, Torrington Place, UCL, WC1E 7JE

9th July: Training event (*limited spaces, early booking advised*)

This one day training event will be led by up to four trainers; Dr Aimee Spector (Clinical Psychologist and original developer of CST) and Dr Joshua Stott, Dr Helen Donovan and Dr Gemma Ridel. All are Consultant Clinical Psychologists with extensive clinical and research expertise. Attending training equips people with skills to offer CST and ensures that it is delivered in a standardised, person-centred and effective way. The course combines traditional teaching with interactive sessions, small group exercises and DVD observation. There will be a maximum of 25 people with each trainer.

10th July: International Conference

The conference will update people on some of the latest CST innovations and focus on adapting CST to different cultures and languages. The afternoon will consist of a choice of workshops, including a brief training in individualised CST (iCST) and group supervision workshops for those already running groups.

Early booking needed, for more information and booking see here.

Regular workshops are also held in various parts of the UK - find out more here.
