Alzheimers Scotland will be launching their annual conference and has listings for events all over Scotland.  Their Let's Talk about Dementia campaign encourages people to talk more about such a difficult subject.

The city of Edinburgh has a lot of events to get involved with, as has Aberdeenshire.

BBC News has the story of a Scottish woman with dementia who has a daily battle to keep active and fight isolation.

And lots of Scotland's landmarks have been turning purple for Dementia Awareness Week.

The National Skills Academy has a series of podcasts in which a panel of experts explore key dementia care issues.

Public Health England's blog has some helpful hints on how to limit the risk of dementia.

Dementia Friends are having a 24-hour marathon of Dementia Friends information sessions on 22nd May, allowing people to learn a little bit more about what it's like to live with dementia and then turn that understanding into action.

The Alzheimer's Society have stories from people living with dementia and resources you can download.  You can also join in with the Twitter hashtag #DoSomethingNew - proving life doesn't end with a dementia diagnosis and you can still have new experiences.  Here are some ideas of what you could try out for the first time.
