Memory Festivals will offer help and advice on dealing with dementia

Clitheroe is to host a series of “Memory Festivals’’ to offer professional advice to people who are living with dementia.

Lancashire County Council is organising the events which will give advice about local service available for sufferers of the illness, their families, carers and friends.

The Memory Festivals will showcase the wide range of resources and holistic, enriching activities available from shared reading, memory boxes and books on prescription to reminiscence sessions, Dementia Friends training, patchwork classes and many more projects.
