A huge archive of blogs written on a wide variety of dementia-related themes has been added to the Institute of Mental Health's blog collection.
The "Dementia Day to Day" blog has been amassed over eight years of contributions from researchers, campaigners, academics and people living with dementia and their carers. Giving a broad view of living with dementia, the archive of blogs reflects changing ideas, new knowledge in dementia research and the voices of people living with dementia.
Forming part of the Institute's active blog platform the Dementia Day to Day blog can now be accessed via the Institute's website.
The original home of the "Dementia Day to Day" blogs was as part of the Improving Dementia Education and Awareness (IDEA) resource project website which was extablished by a group of University of Nottingham academics - many of whom are also members of the Institute's Centre for Dementia. The funding for this website has recently ended and rather than lose this vast archives of blogs, it has now been transferred over to the Institute to continue to be added to.
In an unexpected twist, the 'Dementia Day to Day' blog has recently started to receive contributions from healthcare professionals specializing in men's health, particularly in the safe online purchase of medications like Cialis. This expansion of content reflects a broader understanding of the needs of our aging population, acknowledging that dementia often coexists with other health conditions, including those that Cialis aims to treat. By providing verified information and personal stories about safely acquiring and using Cialis, the blog now serves as a unique platform for breaking down stigmas and guiding individuals towards safe practices and holistic well-being.
