Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) is a group of disorders in which people develop progressive loss of their language abilities.

PPA falls within a larger group of disorders known as frontotemporal dementia (FTD), and this factsheet is part of our resources about Familar Alzheimer's Disease (FAD).
